Hailing from an old stone shed in Northern Ireland, Double-wide was born of 3 friends with a desire to play Southern Metal/Hard Rock Music with a deep Blues influence. Tuned low and played slow but alot of chunk and groove, DW is about the Riff, the groove and the bottom end and we are heavily influenced by Crowbar/Down/COC..etc..

I can’t believe I’m just now finding this band. I lucked into finding them by reading an old interview with The Skull members Eric Wagner, Ron Holzner, and Jeff Olson (All three formerly of Trouble, too). They’ve been broken up for almost a decade now. Such a shame; they should have and still should be HUGE! The vocalist has some amazing pipes! If you listen to the first song and don’t buy it, it’s quite possible you have zero taste when it comes to heavy music. Jason Gilbert
